Menu contestuale di Synology Drive non compare su Windows 10

Sul mio pc Windows 10 64 bit ho installato Synology Drive Client ultima versione.
Abilitando la sincronizzazione su richiesta con alcune cartelle presenti sul nas, naturalmente compaiono gli stessi file nella cartella Synology Drive del mio pc.
L’indicatore di stato che compare su ogni file o cartella è naturalmente impostato su ONLINE (nuvola blu), ma volendo rendere disponibile OFFLINE un file, ho notato che nel menu contestuale del tasto destro del mouse non compaiono le opzioni proprie di Synology Drive, come ASSOCIA A LOCALE DEFINITIVAMENTE e non riesco a capire il perché.
Qualcuno di voi sa aiutarmi?

Basta aprirlo una volta e lo rende offline

certo, ma se io volessi rendere disponibile offline un'intera cartella??

ho provato a disinstallare e reinstallare il client ma... niente.
devo per caso settare qualche permesso particolare per far comparire le opzioni nel menu contestuale?

forse perchè ho abilitato la cartella TEAM e non I MIEI FILES?? (anzi.. qual'è la differenza?

giusto per aggiornarvi... ho scritto all'assistenza di synology e mi hanno risposto con una guida in inglese per modificare il registro di sistema... ma neanche quel metodo funziona

alla fine mi hanno dato un file fix.reg e ora FUNZIONA!!!!!!!!!!

Dopo essermi consultato con gli sviluppatori abbiamo trovato un workaround
Cortesemente provi a seguire questi step:

The following condition will cause overlay icon or context menu not appearing on Windows:

- User MUST install Drive client with administrator privilege to get icon overlay. If user doesn't, there will be no icon overlay.
- User MUST restart explorer to load the icon overlay library. Usually, Drive client installer will do the job, but if somehow the restart is interrupted or ignored, user needs to manually restart the explorer. Reboot the PC will effectively restart explorer.
- Microsoft Limitation: Windows registry only allows about 10 overlay icons (note: not 10 programs. Each individual icon counts) registered in the system. Other programs competing for registry key space could be: Dropbox, OneDrive, and OneDrive Pro. See reference here

How to troubleshooting the Synology Drive context menu missing issue:
1. Press [Windows] + R, and enter regedit, and press enter
2. Find the key here \HKEY_CURRENT_USER\SOFTWARE\Classes*\shellex\ContextMenuHandlers\CloudStation.SyncFolderContextMenu
3. Make sure the value of the key is {2C4A5D61-009C-4561-9A33-6AFD542FD237}
4. If there is no key or the value is wrong, refer the next step to fix it.
If the key and value are correct, or the fix step won’t work, forward the ticket to the Drive client owner.

How to fix this:
1. Press [Windows] + R, and enter regedit, and press enter
2. Find the key HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Explorer\ShellIconOverlayIdentifiers\
3. Check if there are more than 5 keys before "01UnsuppModule"(Ouriconoverlay), if yes, than some of the icon Overlay of Cloud Station cannot be shown.
It can be manual repair only if the those keys before our modules are not so important, please always confirm with customer
- Remove the iconoverlay which isn't necessary and registered before "01UnsuppModule". Let the number of keys before "01UnsuppModule" is less than 5.
- Restart explorer (or log out and then log in Windows)
4. If none of the above could help and user is on Windows 10, proceed with the following check:
a. Press [Windows] + R, and enter regedit, and press enter
b. Check if the following key exist, if no, proceed to next step. If yes, escalate the ticket.
- HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Classes\CLSID\{48AB5ADA-36B1-4137-99C9-2BD97F8788AB}
c. Launch Windows Explorer and go to the following location and find the folder name (should be a number, for example, 20):
- %localappdata%\SynologyDrive\SynologyDrive.app\icon-overlay
- After enter, we could see the real path, for example: C:\Users\John\AppData\Local\CloudStation\CloudStation.app\icon-overlay
- Check if user's Windows 10 is 32bit or 64bit. We will need to use the different value in later steps.
- "x86" for 32bit
- "x64" for 64bit
- Download the file "fix.reg" and edit the file with text editor, here is one of the 6 paths we need to modify:
[HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Classes\CLSID\{2C4A5D61-009C-4561-9A33-6AFD542FD237}\InprocServer32]
@="C:\\Users\\[USERNAME]\\AppData\\Local\\SynologyDrive\\SynologyDrive.app\\icon-overlay\\20\\x64\\ContextMenu.dll"

- Modify each path using the following information:
a. User name: We found in Step 4c: "C:\Users\John\AppData\Local\CloudStation\CloudStation.app\icon-overlay"
b. The folder name: We also found in Step 4c, for example: 20
c. Windows 32/64bit: We checked in Step 4d, for example: x64 since user's Windows 10 is 64bit
- Modify all 6 paths like the follow result then save the *.reg file:
a. [HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Classes\CLSID\{2C4A5D61-009C-4561-9A33-6AFD542FD237}\InprocServer32]
b. @="C:\\Users\\John\\AppData\\Local\\SynologyDrive\\SynologyDrive.app\\icon-overlay\\20\\x64\\iconOverlay.dll"
c. "ThreadingModel"="Apartment"
- Import the saved *.reg file to user's Windows.
- Restart explorer.exe or reboot the computer.

- Sometimes the Context Menu could be also occupied by other software, in this case, it's similar to the icon overlay issue, we could edit the registry, by adding more space in front of "CloudStation.SyncFolderContextMenu" to move it to the top of list：
