[DS107+] Come installare amule, ovvero: come creare una emule-station

come ho detto prima anch'io sono impazzito per la gui su win, l'unica cosa che mi dava problemi era md5, una copiata quella giusta (nonostante mettessi password mi dava un altro md5) a me è andato tutto
ah ovviamente su ds107+ ( credo sia uguale al tuo tranne che per i due dischi interni ), anche se ogni tanto non va, ma dopo qualche tentativo riesce a loggarsi

:-k Ragazzi mi accodo anch'io tra quelli che non riescono a far funzionare Amule sul 207+. Allora, fatto tutto come da manuale (ho avuto solo dei problemi con la dipendenza gconv-modules per la quale ho dovuto seguire tutte e 2 le strade proposte e alla seconda non mi ha dato piu' errore) non ho avuto errori durante tutta l' installazione ma non riesco a visualizzare la GUI da un client della rete con Windows XP. Come per altri si chiude la finestra del programma, non esce niente ed il processo rimane appeso. Chissa' se qualche anima buona sa dirmi come risolvere? Come richiesto da alcuni post precedenti, allego i 2 files AMULE.CONF e REMOTE.CONF

da SSH , prova a dare il comando ps .

Identifica il PRIMO processo riferito ad Amule (PID) e scrivi kill numero_del_primo_PID_riferito_ad_Amule

attendi qualche secondo .

Poi ridai ps e controlla che non vi siano più processi riferiti ad Amule.

Dai solo il comando amule -f

Di seguito ti scrivo il mio amule.conf e remote.conf perfettamente funzionanti da mesi ...

La differenza è relativa allo user utilizzato ( io utilizzo ROOT ) e l'abilitazione del web server di Amule sulla porta 5005 per accedervi tramite web browser ed ai Synology utilzzati :

Hitman80, ho provato anche a copiare i tuoi file REMOTE.CONF e AMULE.CONF (ovviamente modificandoli con i miei percorsi/password) ma il processo non parte nemmeno. Non da errori ma con PS non lo visualizzo nemmeno. E' un' impresa titanica far funzionare il mulo con questo NAS! Proseguo con i tentativi e con i link che mi hai postato.

Ho rifatto l' installazione da uno dei link che mi hai postato e adesso funziona con AMULEGUI (non funziona l' interfaccia WEB ma quella mi interessa relativamente). Per tutti quelli che avesse dei problemi con Amule su DS207+ consiglio di fare l' installazione seguendo le istruzioni su http://terrornoize.altervista.org/amule-on-nas.htm : A me ha funzionato !! Ora non so che cosa fare dell' installazione fatta seguendo questo post ma se se sta buona buona lì dov'è ............ altrimenti come faccio a disinstallarla?
